My eyes fluttered open when I felt movements around me and I caught a whiff of Stefan's familiar scent. My ears burned as he yelled at someone to get the doctor.
The sounds of footsteps came and then an old man asked my body to be taken up to the room. I was half conscious and extremely tired and in pain.
My body was gently placed on the bed and I heard the shuffle of footsteps before someone began to touch me. My eyes flew open and just as I tried sitting up, blinding pain shot up my side and I let out a loud cry, falling back into bed and breathing heavily as I tried to make the pain dissipate into different parts of my body.
"Ollie," Stefan whispered, taking my hand and softly brushing my hair behind my ears. "I'm here. You'll be fine."
