"Thank you for driving me back home," I smiled at Hermes. "I am tired as hell but tonight was worth it all thanks to you."
He shut his car door and came over to where I stood. Then he smiled. "I'm glad you enjoyed my company. Does this mean we get to hang out from time to time?"
I turned my gaze towards the house. My eyes lifted to the third floor and I caught a figure standing in the shadows and watching us. They must have seen me look their way because they turned and left the room.
I turned back to Hermes. "Of course. Have a goodnight."
We hugged and I kissed him on the cheek, not missing the blush that creeped up his face underneath the lights that poured out of the gas lamps above us. He waved at me and turned before slipping into his car and in no time, he was zooming
