Searon rushed forward, slashing his claymore against Arria’s flamberge. His weapon glowed crimson with the magical energy surging through it, but Arria’s seemed just as powerful as it glowed violet. He stepped back, repositioning himself as he swung his claymore from left to right. Beads of sweat formed on Arria’s forehead. Searon smiled as he pressed forward, grateful for her weakened state. Even weakened, she proved to be quite a match. He wondered if he could ever defeat her. His claymore twirled through the air, sparking as it contacted with her violet flamberge. Crimson and violet mixed in a collection of sparks that scattered across the ground at their feet.
