Chapter Thirty Searon led his party east from Sudegam to spy on the Ikchani camp near the Shayli Mountains. They were more careful as they approached them than the last time, since they knew the Ikchani were there. When they arrived, the camp was abandoned. “Where did they all go?” Xython asked. “They left,” Sh’on said. Searon took a deep breath. “We lingered too long.
