Chapter Fifty Searon heard Adneiva grunt. His head still spun as he opened his eyes to see an arrow protruding from her shoulder. She ripped it out, but only the shaft appeared, the arrowhead remaining inside. Adneiva adjusted her sword, gritted her teeth, and attempted to slam the sword down onto Searon. Another arrow tore into her shoulder. The arrowhead shone black, gleaming in the sunlight. Searon’s eyes widened. He rolled out of the way as Adneiva ripped the second arrow out of her shoulder, without its arrowhead again, and still she tried to slam her sword into Searon. Grabbing his claymore, Searon stood.
