“What do you expect me to do?” I asked.
My head was down and there was a strange kind of nervousness in every part of me; I wasn’t sure what to expect from him.
“You should know what’s right.” He answered, disappointment clear in his eyes.
“That’s what I did! The decision I took was something you didn’t like.” I almost choked on my tears. My heart was starting to break at this point.
“Yes! Because you are giving everything up for us! You shouldn’t.”
“Why?” I stepped closer as tears started forming again. I hated that my emotions always had a hold on me. “Why can’t I?”
