Chapter Twenty-Three Focus
I scroll through it before coming to Remi’s contact. I press the call button hoping she answers quickly. After a couple of rings, she answers. “Azzy?” She says happily. “Hey Remi,” I say as a smile forms on my face. “How are you? I miss you.” She says excitedly. “I’m doing good. I miss you too, but I can’t talk for long.” I say trying to sound more chipper. "We need to get together soon.” She says as I look down to see in the drawer I pulled my phone out. There is also a folder titled Gianna. What's this? I ask myself quietly. As I go to grab the folder, I hear someone approaching the door. “We will. I've got to go.” I say quickly as I end the call and power off the phone. I put it back in the drawer and close it before putting the charger back how I found it. The footsteps are too
