Emilia went to Andrew's office, but he wasn't there. She only received two envelopes after handing over the car repair bill to someone Andrew had assigned to meet her.
Emilia exited Andrew's office building and headed to where her car was parked. She got into her car and sat down.
She opened the thin envelope, as she was sure the thick one contained money. Emilia began reading the letter from Andrew. She didn't read it just once: she read it again, slowly, each word written on the paper in her hand.
