Scott had just finished cooking lunch, naturally, with some help from his mom over the phone. The bell rang, and there was Diana standing in front of him, immediately hugging him.
"I miss you so much, honey!"
"Di... Di, I've told you, never contact or see me again!"
"I can't live without you, Scott." Diana pushed against his chest, leading them into the living room.
"Di... please, don't make me hate you. Please leave me, Di. I want us to part on good terms. I don't want us to hate each other," Scott pleaded in a low voice. They were standing near the bedroom, and Scott didn't want Sandy to wake up.
"I will never leave you, Scott ... never!" Diana kept trying to hug him, while he tried to avoid her, accidentally knocking over a flower vase on a small cabinet.
