THE WITCH'S

CAVE

Aria decided to enter the cave of the sea witch.The cave was much more colder than the ocean floor,as she stepped in, the waters became heavier and thicker with strange looking tap roots and magical objects which held every n*****s of secrets,her heart pounded out of fear because of the strange looking cave but never gave up as she dived further into the depths of the cave.

Then came a hoarse voice from beneath the very quiet cave,you seek power beautiful mermaid said the sea witch as her words echoed like fire in the cave.

Yes,Yes,Yes said Aria I come in peace to request for,she paused

Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,the sea witch laughed Aria wondered why she laughed.

You came to ask for powers in order to take charge over this kingdom.

Yes,it is meant for me replied Aria.

"You seek power",the sea witch rasped from the shadows,"but do you know that this treasure belongs to the ocean.

I know,I have always knew,its the treasure,the spell.Through my research and findings I got to know that this treasure is very powerful and would be of great opportunity for me to become the ruler of this kingdom,and I cannot afford to miss it,its my time to shine and go get that treasure of mine Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha Aria laughs.

The sea witch,drifted forward,her blue eyes very visible,her long hair floating into the ocean like seaweeds,she became very visible now as she smiled revealing her black rotten teeth's.it was never yours Aria,it belongs to the ocean,but if you are eager enough,I can let you see a picture of the spell where it rests.she leads Aria through into an inner room in the cave that was surrounded with tunnels of mirrors,each one giving a full evidence of the past.

Aria was amused with the fact that she was able to view the spell through the mirror been sealed in a golden staff by the first guardian of the ocean from the deep.she gasped,"This is the spell glowing very brightly in the depth of the ocean inside a cave.I need this spell said Aria.

Alright,your wishes are my command,you will surely lead this kingdom if you are ready to know what it will cost you.

I am ready to give anything said Aria,just name it and it shall be done.

Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,you will need to make a sacrifice to the gods and it demands your eggs,in order to have access in getting the magical powers,make a quick decision because the time is ticking,never to be returned again beautiful mermaid.

But,but Aria stammers why must I have to sacrifice my eggs is there not an alternate way to get these powers asked Aria.

The gods are not to be questioned Aria,if you truly want these powers you will have to pay a price for it.

Hmmmmmm, so you mean to say that after sacrificing my eggs,I will have full access to these powers but I would not be able to ever bear fruits with my eggs.

Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,the sea witch laughs,yes Aria that's the truth,the decision is in your hands.

I will be back in the next few days because I need to really think about this and make a wise decision replied Aria as she turns for her departure out of the sea witch's cave.

Aria leaves the cave with a worried face back to her kingdom as she knew that she had to figure out a way out of this difficult situation.

Back in the cave,the sea witch laughs out loud,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Aria you have been fooled,there is no magical power used in collecting the ocean treasure,if I could get it I will not be in this position today not to talk of a little mermaid like you,I am fully ready to teach you a lesson by collecting your eggs and using it to add to my own powers Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha she laughs.

The ocean remained calm through the intervention of the sea guardian,but then the ocean could sense darkness into the kingdom.The ever glowing ocean went blank,the current had no control again which caused commotions everywhere.Dark clouds could be seen on the surface,what could be the problem.How magical it could be,oh my gosh do not over think it,A vision,one of

a kind through the magical powers to the ocean guardian.Oh yes,he had to embark on an ancestral journey in order to safeguard the treasure because it was no longer safe in his cafe.

There is no time again he received another signal,through his magical enchantment he decided to lay a curse making a prophecy. ONLY A CHARMING LOOKING PRINCE OF THE KINGDOM WOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE MAGICAL GOLDEN SPELL WHERE EVER I LAY IT TODAY. Then created another spell through his powers,guess what,it was a magical liquid that would be used to have magical knowledge about the hidden treasure.The sea guardian roars in excitement...who dares challenge my worth,he keeps this magical liquid portion in a bottle inside the cave and carries the enchanted golden staff into the ocean as he embarks on a journey in search of a hidden place to safeguard the treasure.

The final words of the sea witch still lingered in Aria's memory as she swam silently through the dark ocean,the intensity of the sacrifice to be made really strucked her heart.

Aria later on arrives at her kingdom and went straight into her cave where she lives.her mind explored on different ideas as she was lost in thought.

I need the powers what should I do,just as she remembers her pet mora,which was her well trusted pet with white scaled body and sparkling eyes like stardust,then a voice came from inside the cave trouble you bring.

Aria lowered herself on a golden seat,her eyes looking desperately through her egg chambers a golden glass where her eggs shined faintly,full of a brighter future ahead.

The sea witch requested for them,Aria whispered with pain very evident in her voice,she wants my eggs in exchange for powers,the kind of power enough to bring down the sea guardian.

Mora gently coiled her feathers,Aria you have longed for this strength but am sure your sacrifice would be enough to bring down the grip of the sea guardian in order to collect your long awaited treasure,or have you forgotten how you will always wish to take charge over this kingdom.

Aria blinked,her vision becomes blurring as a result of the pool of salt water tears she had released,these eggs are my future Mora.

But your future does not have a solid foundation without the powers or do you still want to remain powerless under the sea guardian shadows

After long hours of silence Aria stands firm and carries her precious eggs saying if it takes giving up what I cherish so be it,I stand firm that this kingdom is mine Ha,Ha,Ha, Ha, Ha, she laughs.
