“Smart ass.” Laughing, Luke strode away. The Ramshorn group dismounted to stretch and take some pictures while they waited. Luke brought out his camera and snapped a few shots of the guests and the old cabins before striding out onto the mine tailings. He walked through the decrepit building that had once sheltered the rail system used to dump the waste rock over the edge. By the time the mine had shut down, the mound stretched more than half the length of a football field out from the mountainside and dropped a couple hundred feet from where Luke stood to the bottom of the glacial ravine.
