CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE ~Camilla I was furious. My mind was spinning, and my blood was boiling, yet somehow I managed to sit down at my desk, trying my damnedest to regain some semblance of control. I took a deep breath, the kind where your chest expands like you’re trying to take in all the air in the room at once, like it could somehow calm the raging storm inside me. I let it out slowly, but even as the breath left my lungs, I could feel the anger creeping back in, like a monster that had just been shoved back into its cage. "That bastard," I muttered under my breath. I kept imagining his smug face, his voice reeking of that same condescending tone, as if he had the right to treat me like that. Like I was nothing but a toy, a plaything for him to manipulate whenever he felt like it.
