Doctor is a dangerous job

In the emergency room...

"What is it?"

"Oh dr. Liu, there you are...This patient has gotten into accidents. She is the wife of Mr. Yang Zhong Min, he insisted on letting you handle his wife."

Liu Fei is checking her wound, he cleans her head, checks her vital. He realizes something is not right "Who brought her here?"

"Her husband. He is waiting outside."

After giving some instructions to the ER doctor, Liu Fei goes outside to speak to her husband. He sees May is sitting in one of the waiting room chairs, she is busy reading some reports but seeing Liu Fei she approaches him.

"Mr. Yang, I am Dr. Liu. May I know how the accident happened to your wife? I need to make sure to make the right treatment."

A man in a black suit who looks like an executive of some company with a man who seems to be his assistant approach, Liu Fei. "How is my wife doctor? Is not that bad right? She is always like this, she is so careless and always falls down. But usually, it's not this bad."

May watches Liu Fei's face darken, he is resisting his anger and disgust to the man in front of him. "What actually happens to your wife, sir? How did the accident happen? We need to know that to provide the right treatment..."

"Is not that bad right? I think the wound is not that deep, I brought her here in order to make sure that the wound will not leave a scar on her face. "Okay, make sure nobody visits her until the police come. Call the security if someone force to enter the room and make a scene."

The face of Mr. Yang and his assistant become darker, he whispers to his assistant, "Call my lawyer and the backup, I want none of this comes out to the public okay?!"

"Yes, Sir!"

"Dr. Liu, I think you have misunderstood me, I have just got home and found my wife has fainted on the floor. I rushed her here...I love her, so I need to see her condition."

"I am sorry Mr. Yang, your wife is still unconscious. We will let you know once she awakes."

A nurse walking hastily approached Dr. Liu " Doctor Liu, we have an emergency situation in room 2100."

Mr. Yang and some men who look like some thugs cause a scene in front of the ER, some operating equipment are scattered on the floor. People start gathering and whispering, some of them are afraid to see the thugs. Looks like they bring a weapon inside their clothes.

"What is happening here? Mr. Yang, I think I have told you to wait until your wife awake and whether she wants to meet you or not the decision is hers. If you cause a scene here, I have to call the security and prohibit you from entering our hospital."

May covers Liu Fei with her arm and hits Mr. Yang with her other arm. The knife on Mr. Yang's hand falls down, The Thugs start to attack but stop by securities.

"May!!! Are you all right? Call the police now! I want these guys to be locked in jail!" Liu Fei hurriedly checks on May's wound and carries her to the ER.

"Liu Fei, it's all right, it's just a scratch...Put me down...this is embarrassing!" May whispers.

"I have told you, you are a woman why you always put your safety above other people's safety?!"

"Liu Fei, I think we need to talk after this but somewhere private, okay?"

Liu Fei checks the wound, asking for some equipment from the nurse.

The ER Doctor, Dr. Lin comes and says "Let me take care of that wound, Dr. Liu!"

"No need, she is my fiancée, no one should touch her!"

"Huh?!" May feels so confused why Liu Fei behaves like that, while other people who heard that whispering and saying "Wow, Dr. Liu must love her so much. She is so lucky..."

"Does it hurt? Tell me if it's hurt, I'll try to be gentle...Why would you be so stupid to do that? I can handle him!"

This must be because we have so many spectators so Liu Fei treats me this nice, it has nothing to do with the feeling. May tries to convince herself and makes an excuse for her heart.

"You are a heart surgeon, your hands are very valuable to help people. Don't forget that Liu Fei..."

After treating the wound, Liu Fei takes May to his office.

"Your acting back there is great Liu Fei, I believe if there is any doubt whether I am your real fiancée or not, now has gone. 3 older girls cornered Jenny, 1 girl presses her against the wall while 1 other pulls Jenny's hair. The biggest girl who seems the leader comes to Xia Lin.

"I have told you to back off..." The biggest girl pushes Xia Lin down.

"Xia Lin, go...leave me..." Jenny seems so scared and about to bursts into tears.

Xia Lin stands up and cleans herself, ignoring the biggest girl, "Don't worry Jenny, I am okay!"

The girls leave Jenny and begin surrounding Xia Lin, One of them tries to slap Xia Lin but she fends off and slaps her instead. The other 2 girls help their friend holds Xia Lin down. "You dare to slap me!!!" angrily the girl hit and kick Xia Lin repeatedly.

Jenny runs and screams for help, Liu Fei who hears the scream runs over with his friends. "Hey stop!" He pushes the girl and hugs Xia Lin.

When the teacher comes they are brought to the principal office. Jenny tells them that she has been bullied for quite sometimes but she dare not tells anyone. They threatened her, they will spread the rumor that Jenny's father little restaurant using rotten meat. The restaurant is Jenny's family's only income. The teacher gives the girls a warning letter, asks them to gives it to their parents, and brings them to school to apologize to Jenny's family. If something like this happens again, the girls will be expelled.

After that, Liu Fei brings Xia Lin to the school medical room. Xia Lin has some bruises on her legs and the worst is on her left arm. He looks for the nurse but she was nowhere so he takes some medical supplies and begins taking care of the wounds. "Xia Lin it maybe hurt please hold it a little...I'll try to be gentle..."

"May...did you hear me?"

"Huh? What did you say, Liu Fei?" May raises her head while tries to get away from Liu Fei.

"Don't move like that or the wound will open again, what should I do with you May?" Liu Fei touches May's hair and face while looking at her eyes.

"Huh? Liu Fei, are you having a fever? You behave oddly today." May puts her hand on Liu Fei's forehead.

When May wants to take her hand off, Liu Fei holds it and kisses the hand. May is so surprised that she pushes Liu Fei away, that makes Liu Fei loses his balance and pulls May down also. They fall down with May on top of Liu Fei, but Liu Fei switches the position quickly.

"What are you doing Liu Fei? Just because I am assigned to protect you, doesn't mean I will not hit you!"

"Shh..." Liu Fei touches May's lip with his finger when he sees May is stunned, he kisses her. At first it just a light kiss, but when Liu Fei has tasted it, he feels the urge to asks for more. May who is shocked by the first kiss tries to push Liu Fei away. But he holds her and kisses her deeply, forces her lip to open for him. 

May sees someone at the door Who is that? Celine...That's great! She kisses him back, when Liu Fei feels May's response he feels so happy he kisses her passionately. They kiss until they are out of breath.

After the kiss, they both lay down while catching their breath. "This should not happen again, Liu Fei! I kiss you because there is someone at the door just now. That kiss should be enough to convince people that we are a real fiancée."

Liu Fei is shocked and feeling disappointed "Really? That kiss is just because of that?"

"Yup, and we should prevent that happen again in the future. I need to go out for a second, I haven't asked Jake what happen with Mr. Yang." May gets up and leaves Liu Fei's office.

Liu Fei sits down, he just can't believe what he has just heard. Can someone kiss like that without any feeling? I just don't believe it, May must be shocked also, she must be in denial now. That's right I just have to give her some time to think and show her that there is something between us.

"Jake, where are you? What happened with Mr. Yang?"

"Hey, are you all right? I am with L now, Mr. Yang, and those thugs are in the police station now."
