Everyone seemed to halt at their places as Ale and I stepped down the steps and into the huge hall. I felt self conscious, as men eyed me from head to toe while women glared at me, I don't even know why. If not for Ale's hand on waist, I would have made run for the door. I didn't feel like I belonged anywhere near here. The quiet place once again erupted in noises as attenders continued what they were best at, gossips. We were escorted to the area near the stage, and I just roamed my eyes through the crowd. Nothing appealed to me. The whole time Ale talked to different men who came to meet him in Italian and I felt like an intruder. I did want to know what they were talking about but I didn't even understand a single word. One and half an into the party, we were escorted to our table
