The assessment battery continued for two full days. By the end, Isabella felt wrung out—physically exhausted, mentally drained, emotionally raw from the constant evaluation. But she'd given everything she had.
On the third morning, results were posted in the main concourse. Hundreds of cadets crowded around the displays, searching for their names and scores.
Isabella found hers halfway down the list:

**Academic Knowledge: 94/100**
**Tactical Reasoning: 98/100**
**Overall Assessment: EXCEPTIONAL**
Her heart hammered in her chest. Exceptional. Not just passing, not just adequate—exceptional.
