Rosalind returned a moment later, ending the conversation before Catalina could ask another question.
"There you are."
Bastian straightened slightly.
"I wasn't causing trouble."
Rosalind raised an eyebrow.
"I didn't say you were."
"You were thinking it."
"Thats's because you usually are." Rosalind said. He shook his head before walking off. He took two steps before turning back toward Catalina.
"It really was nice meeting you."
"You too."
"If you get completely lost..."
He pointed toward the enormous fountain standing in the center of the courtyard.
"...meet me there."
Catalina laughed.
"That's your rescue plan?"
"It worked for me."
"When?"
"My first year."
Neriah rolled her eyes.
"It absolutely did not."
