# Chapter 14: The Battery
The assessment facilities occupied an entire level of Primori Academy, a sprawling complex of testing chambers, simulation rooms, and monitoring stations. Isabella stood with her cohort in the main staging area, watching as academy officials organized cadets into groups for different evaluation tracks.
"This is it," Kevin said beside her, bouncing slightly on his toes. "The moment where they figure out if we're actually as good as our entrance exams suggested."
"Speak for yourself," Haruka muttered. "I already know I'm good. I just need to prove it to them."
The confidence should have been annoying, but Isabella found it oddly comforting. At least someone in their group wasn't drowning in imposter syndrome.
