“What?” Liv whispered again, her wide eyes reflecting pure, beautiful shock. Before Blake could attempt to stuff the word back into his throat, they heard a loud voice booming from the hallway outside the room. “Liv! Get up! We need to move the snow off the car!” Paul yelled. The panic was instantaneous and absolute. Both of them launched off the bed. Blake got immediately tangled in the silk sheets, his body flailing, almost tripping over the small nightstand before yanking the fabric away. He scrambled for his discarded jeans, fumbling desperately with the zipper and button. Liv was faster. She grabbed a pair of shorts and a t-shirt from the floor, pulling them on in one smooth, practiced motion. She swept the delicate black lace lingerie off the floor and shoved it into her dresser
