Here I was thinking we’ve successfully kept we going to see a therapist a secret from Nicholas, then boom the therapist herself walked in.

Micheal must be finding all of this funny, in his mind, he would say thank goodness I didn’t say anything and she was also here when the doctor walked in. This classified information has found its way out.

I really can’t say whether I was stunned when I saw her walking towards us, I would say I was amazed about how small the world is, who would believe that the therapist that I had looked at with disdain when I first worked into her office would be Nicholas girlfriend

I recognized her instantly i saw her but I didn’t look at her so much the last time we met to know she was this beautiful, what stood out for me, was her hair.

“Yes we met before few times, a few weeks ago,” she said

“Oooh! I see am still going to introduce you guys to one another whether you guys like it or not. Angela, this is Bridget and Micheal, my two best friends, Bridget and Micheal this is Angela, my girlfriend”

We all burst into laughter

“Okay, nice meeting you guys again,” Angela said grinning

“Nice meeting you too Angela,” I said

“Nice meeting you Doc,” Micheal said

“You just called her a doctor how did you know she is a doctor,” Nicholas said

Before we could answer, Angela's baby raised her hand wanting to collect the Coca-Cola I had ordered earlier.

“Oh my God! We were carried away, guys look at this jewel sitting next to us” Nicholas said standing up to carry Jessie and putting her on his lap.

“Hi Jessie, my name is Nicholas but you can call me Uncle Nick, do you want the drink,” he said pointing at the table

“Yes am thirsty,” she said putting a finger in her mouth

“Sweetheart you want a drink, you can absolutely have mine i do not mind,” I said passing the drink over to Nicholas, he collected it and opened it for the kid.

“She is so adorable and she looks so much like you,” Micheal said grinning

“Thank you, you won’t have a hard time getting along with her, she is very peaceful”

“Thank God, I get to see her without thinking about it too much, have been nervous about how our first meeting is going to be like”

“You don’t have to worry too much, she is calm like rainfall, she looks blissful,” I said

“I had to bring her along because my babysitter wasn’t around. I was in a tight corner I had no one to leave her with”

“Ooh no it's fine dear, we are honestly happy to see her. Nicholas loves kids so much, am sure he is pleased to see her likewise Micheal”

“Thank you, Bridgett,” she said putting her hand on her chest

“It's fine, we could be family so why not? And in case you need someone to watch over her I could babysit her, if you wouldn’t mind”

“You are far too kind Bridgett, I do appreciate you too”

“You are welcome,” I said smiling

“It's nice to see you two getting along so well, I didn’t even know it would be this easy,” Nicholas said joyously

“Hello guys,” Micheal said waving his hands “Am famished right now and I believe little Jessie would want to eat something too,” he said touching Jessie’s cheek “Please let order”

I had forgotten I was very hungry, even before we left the house. As soon as we got into the restaurant, I ordered a drink, It wasn’t long before the waiter dropped it that Angela walked in.

I was engrossed in the conversation and when I saw Jessie my heart melted for her immediately. She is such a pretty little thing.

I didn’t know when I said I could babysit her but it is something I would love to do.

Even though we had successfully diverted Nicholas's attention from truly knowing how we met sooner or later he would find out.

It was already dark by the time we came out of the restaurant. The restaurant is just opposite Nicholas’s house. He had said he wanted us to go into the building because Angela did not yet know where he rented his apartment. I had told Angela I would hold Jessie for her

As soon as we crossed the road to the other side, about to take the stairs

We heard a voice behind us. “Hi Mr and Mrs Macaulay”

I knew who it was, it was Felicia

“Hi Felicia,” I said turning to her while we all did. She walks towards us, holding hands with a man beside her

“Good evening neighbor,” Micheal said smiling

“What are you guys doing here?”

“We are here to check out my friend’s apartment” Micheal answered pointing at Nicholas

“Ooh, I see! He must be the new occupant on the top floor, nice to meet you my name is Felicia” she said extending her hands for a handshake while he reciprocated “I live here also”

“Hi my name is Nicholas and this is my girlfriend Angela”

“Sorry for my manners this is my boyfriend James”

“Hi James” everyone had chorused at the same time including Jessie, we were all surprised and then burst into laughter because she had not said anything to us all through the evening aside from when she wanted the drink.

“It's nice meeting you guys and The cute little one most especially,” James said smiling at Jessie

“I can see Jessie never wants to be sidelined, she always wants to be heard whenever we want to be forgetting that she is here with us,” Micheal said

“I can see that, you look so cute sweethearts,” Felicia said

“Since you are here Felicia you should also come with us, that is if you are not busy,” I said

“Yea We would love to, babe Hope you don’t mind,” Felicia said turning to James

“Yea totally fine by me”

“Okay let go then,” Nicholas said leading the way
