Chapter Thirteen
The hospital wasn't as busy as the last time she'd been there. Probably because visiting hours had long since ended. Thankfully, Arabella Reed had pulled some strings for her and managed to get her on some kind of out-of-hours approved visitors list. She'd have to send the woman some thank you flowers or something like that once she was done. Rory would be able to advise her on that, she'd said the two women were friends.
It only took her a couple of minutes to find the room where the woman whose life she'd saved was being treated. She knocked on the door, not wanting to burst in on the now-conscious patient unexpectedly.
"Come in," a man called out.
She stepped inside to find a handsome doctor standing next to the bed with a clipboard in hand.
