Chapter Eight The morgue was bigger than the other ones she'd been in, with a lot more bottles and gadgets scattered around. The difference must be that the other morgues she'd visited hadn't belonged to a crime fighting organisation, or been for mostly paranormal bodies. She shivered at the thought of what they might be here for. Was a necromancer performing archaic rituals on people? Or was one of her people dead? The possibilities were almost endless, and she couldn't put her finger on which one of them was more likely.
