Chapter Seven:

4 months later

Sharlynn POV

I wake up to the sun coming through the window i look over glenn still sleeping its our day off since i started my luna duties i roll off the bed with my big belly and head into the bathroom brush my teeth and got in the shower washed myself up and once i got out i felt a little pain in my belly. I was like oh awe dang that hurt a little breathing out the 2 min and gone. Glenn walks in and ask if i was ok i told him i had a small contraction he says “ BABY COMING” i stop him and said this baby can take all day to come it’s just small contractions we just take it easy today and see how the pre-labor progresses. He smiled and says “ I’m not leaving your side today” i said “good” kissed his lips and light bite his bottom lip and he lets out a growl. I walked into the room got a cute dress and flats and headed to my vanity. Blow dry my hair put light make up on and i felt another small contraction come and i breath through it. Once i was done i heard glenn come out with only a towel on. If I wasn’t in pre-labor i jump on him, damn hormones. Once he got dress we head to have breakfast, I didn’t eat a lot and that’s because these mini contractions are not helping my appetite. Once we done me and glenn take our walk and we went all the way to the lake and rested there for a few hours and once we where ready we got up and walked back. However,  we reach the pack ground i felt a trickle of liquid run down my leg and I looked at glenn and said i think my water broke. He walk over and grabs me and looks and only see its slight wet and we head up to change my panties and as i took them off in the bathroom i felt a strong contraction hit me and my water broke all over the floor. I scream in pain and glenn runs in and see the floor wet and didn’t say anything picks me up bridle style grab the hospital bag and mind link my parents and his team and the doctor to be ready and once we arrive they had the room ready it was huge 500 sq ft big. Had a big king bed in the middle and all the equipment ready once glenn layed me down they hooked me and baby up and dr. Lee comes in and says she need to check me and once she was done she says an hour you will be pushing your 9cm i be back in a half hour to check again okay luna, i nodded and she left to get the warmer and another nurse to prep it since she has her two going to help the pushing progress. I feel another hard contact rip through me every min and lasting longer then the next one. Half hour later dr lee comes back and checks me again and says time to push luna ok. Glenn is hold my hand the whole time and wiping sweat off my head and my parents walked in and my mom goes to my other side to hold my other hand and coach me along glenn. Dr lee says next contraction push and not even a sec after she says start pushing i hold my breath and push as hard i can and let out a breath and dr lee says “ good luna another 2 big pushes his head will be out” after the last two big pushes i hear a baby cry nice and loud and glenn eyes started to get watery i said to him “ go honey makes sure he is ok” he kisses my head and he goes to cut the cord and now dr lee says time to push the placenta out. She says just push and it be over i pushed and the placenta came out. The nurses started to clean me up and as they finished they put the blanket over me and glenn walked over and handed our son to me and i lower my gown to lay his nakedness on my chest for skin to skin contact and put the blanket over us and 10 min later dr lee came in and said its time to feed him she help me to get him latch on and he latch on like pro. Once he was done i burp him and he went back to his sleepy state. Glenn got into the bed and held us both and ask “what should we name him” i said “how about Xavier” he says “ perfect Xavier Black” i smiled and i handed him over to glenn and said “I’m going to take a short nap before he needs to eat” glenn says “ ok babe rest” i closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Glenn POV

Sharlynn did great giving birth to our son. He is the most handsome pup i have seen he has my hair and his mom eyes he has my chin and his mom cheek bones he is a perfect mix of both. I picked him up out of his bassinet and walked out to the waiting area to show him off my parents where smiling and our friends i handed him off to my parents and then everyone got to hold him and enjoy the new pup. We did this for at least 2 hours, so i said my goodbyes and we will have a small gathering to celebrate this little guy. Walked back to the room i see my beautiful mate look over at me, i walk over and said “ honey you should go back to sleep” she says “ i actually feel refreshed but i am hungry” i mind link the kitchen staff to bring in varieties of food. I went back to sharlynn and said “ food be here in 20 min and thank you for bringing this handsome to the world, i am over joyed and the rest of our family and friends.” She says “ you help make him and i am honor to carry such a beautiful boy i do it over and over if you wanted i love you soo much.” I looked at her shocked and sat at the edge of the bed with my son in my arms and kissed my mate after our heated kissed he started crying and sharlynn says “ baby hungry too” i hand him over to her and she settles him in and latches on, its the most beautiful thing to watch your mate feeding your newborn. Once she finished feed him and burping him i take him over to his bassinet and lay him down and he is already out. I turn to walk to her and saved by the bell food arrived. I made her a plate and put it on a carrier and place it on her lap and i grab my 20lbs of food and join into bed with her. We ate and talked and enjoy this moment together. Once we finished eating i kissed her on the forehead and got out of bed grab our dishes and put them on the cart i walked over push our newborn in his bassinet sit next to her and i kiss her again and said “ i have a little bit of work to do today but my parents and yours and the girls will be here to keep you company. She says “ ok sounds great” i said “ if you need anything i mean anything mind link me ok “ she nods and i say my byes and headed out of the private room to my office, once i got there i started to get everything planned for a gathering for our son and family and friends and we will do a bigger one to present there future alpha, but now this celebration will do, once i finish with the staff to have this done in 2 days they headed out. I picked up the stack of papers and got to my work its not a lot maybe a few hours and ill be done and back to my my and pup. My phone rings and i answer it. It’s the beta at midnite crescent pack i said “hello Ben, how may i help you today.” Ben said “hello alpha i just wanted you to know cody, brother been brought into the loop he will take over once he is with in age and he sends his regards” i said “ thank you Ben, i just hope he doesn’t come after us after what happen to his brother” Ben says “ no he knows what he did to your luna and he loved her like a sister, he try to intercept what was happen, but his brother threaten to kill him.” I said “ ok you tell him i said thank you and I’ll be there when he becomes age to support him being the new alpha” Ben says “ thank you i will tell him he will be thrilled” i said my goodbyes and hung up the phone. I went back to my work for another few hours and once i was done i head back down to see my mate and pup.
