The word resonates in my ears. Drago has declared Anika our mate after I marked her which is strange because she had marked us about a year ago. What has changed? I wish Drago was being delusional but he's too stern and proper for that. The mark on my neck is scorching hot and I know the reason behind it. Anika isn't the real Anika.
If she was , my mark wouldn't be burning out but it doesn't make sense. She's Anika and at the same time she isn't. The way she carries herself, talk back at me , fights me and looks at me are different. The real Anika wouldn't have done half the things she had done so far. There's one thing I'm certain about is that this fake Anika is my mate and she knows it.
