 I'm sitting in the car it begins to rain I glanced at the window watching the trips run down the window. Car takes a sharp left it makes me shifter in my seat I whimper with pain. I can feel my torn shoulder three broken ribs Max looks through the rearview mirror.'' Are you okay back there at Felix? We'll be there soon'' I look up to him ''just a bit sore ''I mutter out. Sadness in his eyes he looks in my direction again ''I'm sorry they couldn't give you any pain killers.'' I look back at the window ''it's okay Max I can handle it.” I think about my sister and my mother at the house my sister would always climb into the bed with me when it was raining she hated lightning. Now who will look out for her I think, a stream of Tears starts rolling down my cheek.

Suddenly the car stops Max leans to the back seat ''I know it hurts son, try to think of the bright side, this is a whole new start for you.'' he opened the door and runs onto my side of the car slowly opening my door'' Felix let me help you ''he says with a hand reached out. I reach my hand out and move to one side I grabbed my teeth with pain.'' I know it hurts ''Max says with a sad tone he leans me against the car ''oh I almost forgot I have a gift for you, I think it'll come in handy. ''He runs to the other side of the car and pulls out a small box and hand it to me. I look at him and smile ''thank you ''I say as I open the box,in it is a small earpiece it almost looks like a hearing aid. I gave him a confused look as I hold it up. He smiles and looks at me again'' it's called an alpha blocker it makes sure that no Alpha voice can affect you. I look at it again I've heard of them but I've never seen them before.'' Go ahead try it on'' Max says excitedly. ''Make sure it works.'' I take the Alpha blocker and slowly put it in my ear and turn it on. ''Unfortunately I'm not an alpha, so I can't command you to do anything'' Max says smiling. I smile back as an other car pulls up ''oh good who is running late, surprise surprise'' he says with a smirk. A young woman comes out of the car'' I'm sorry uncle I couldn't get away from work.'' Max looks back at me ''this is my niece Anna she's about the same age as you, I think.'' I hold out my hand to shake hers ''thank you for doing this for me'' I say to her.'' Not a problem ''she says ''excitedly after everything you've been through it's at least I can do you'll be my roommate in the house its nothing fancy but you'll fit right in.''

I gave her a small grin ''thank you for any everything.'' She looks at me again '' oh you have an Alpha blocker that's top-of-the-line who gave you that.'' Max nudges her with his elbow ''it's the same one I gave to you don't you recognize it?'' “Oh! I thought it looked familiar” she smiles “trust me, Felix it really works I have the same problem as you do probably not as bad but I do have it.'' Max smiles ''it looks like you two will get along just great however, I got to get back to the pack.'' Max gave Anna a small pack on the cheek then he turned an jumped in the car and drove off. It was hard for me to climb into her car as I grind my teeth. She helped me as best as she could ''don't worry Felix it will heal in a few days I'm sure of it'' she gives me a slight smile. I look at her ''is there a gym near the house ?'' I asked. She grins ''of course Felix you can work out until your heart's content, I even think that the gym is hiring for personal trainers it might be something you can interview for if you're interested.'' I think about it for a moment and look at her ''that's actually right up my alley.'' Anna put her hand on my leg and I Flinch away ''oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean anything by it I'm just a very lovable person you'll get used to it, I promise.'' As soon as we make the long trip to the house she helps me out of the car. I take a deep breath and look at the Omega Safe House it actually doesn't look too bad at all. I take a deep sigh,so this is my life now.
