Waz and I were finally rolling along, the airport lights getting dimmer and farther away out the back of my taxi van’s window and in all the mirrors. “Get out of there!”
He was sifting through the van’s glove compartment, talking again after I brought our banter to a screeching halt for at least three minutes with my snarkiness. “No elephant with its trunk turned up?” Waz closed it when I slapped at his hand. “I assumed you carried all of those things with you at all times.”
