Mark fulfilled his promise; he and Kean were already in front of the Stone City Avenue lobby. Mark bought the tickets online and got an allotment of 15 tickets. He gave them randomly to campus friends who were partly absent during the announcement from Gerald. Then left two for him and Kean.
All the campus friends who were treated began to change their minds; they believed that Mark had become rich and had a lot of money as soon as their hearts turned away.
“Are you serious about coming here?" asked Kean in a worried tone.
Mark nodded enthusiastically. "I need some entertainment, Kean."
Mark stepped inside with Kean. His appearance now looked expensive; he wore a plain shirt and neat jeans that he bought at a boutique. The aura he carried made some people glance over. He increased his charisma in the system yesterday; it was very useful.
Kean gulped. "Bro... this isn't an ordinary place. The people who hang out here are mostly young conglomerates. Do we really want to go in? I'm afraid something will happen with Gerald and Brandon's rotten plan."
Mark smiled slightly. "I didn't just get in. Trust me, Kean, I came to show them that I'm above them."
Before they had gone far, the sound of jeering could be heard.
"Look who's here. Olson is the loser."
Gerald stood with his face still scarred, accompanied by Brandon, Kyle, Jovan, and Gwen's two girl friends. Gwen herself crossed her arms, her eyes sarcastically piercing Mark.
Gwen had been reluctant to see Mark since yesterday, but met him again here.
"Mark, don't tell me you entered the wrong building. This is not the campus cafeteria; all prices are expensive. Kean must have bought you the ticket, right?" Gwen quipped. Still rejecting the truth about Mark's wealth.
Kean wanted to reply, but Mark raised his hand. A faint smile was still on his lips.
Instead of responding, Mark stepped up to the bar. He opened the menu book, staring straight at the bottom of the drinks list: imported champagne, costing an ordinary worker the equivalent of a year's salary. Even though he couldn't order a mojito before, now he looked at all the prices with a happy heart.
He pointed at the most expensive drink to the bartender, and said, "Ten bottles. For all my college friends."
The bartender was silent for a moment, then nodded. The expensive bottles were opened shortly, and the pop sound echoed, greeted by the cheers of students who immediately swarmed.
"Crazy! Olson's treat!"
"This is the most expensive drink on the Avenue, bro!" They crowded around. They were rich, but they didn't have as much pocket money as Mark.
In an instant, Mark became the center of attention. He got a lot of compliments. Kean immediately understood, and he was happy with Mark's plan. Gerald's face turned red seeing all the people he invited, even enjoying the drinks
Mark approached a server and whispered while giving his black card. The server hurriedly went to the VIP room.
Trying to match Mark, Gerald also ordered some fancy bottles with his father's credit card that he secretly brought, because he didn't have enough money, which had been used up to treat everyone to a meal. But just as the drinks arrived, his cell phone vibrated with a call from his father.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! Spending money again?! Where did you get my card?" His father's voice echoed from the speakers.
Everyone heard. Some even laughed softly. Gerald's face crumbled even more. Gwen snorted in disgust. "Even flexing was a complete failure."
Gerald hurriedly turned off his cell phone. He tried to act casual.
Amid his embarrassment, a man approached Gerald and the others. Designer shirt, very formal, narcissistic smile. Gerald felt saved..
“Hi guys, are you Gerald's friend? I'm Harold, Gerald's cousin. I work at Avenue. I have special access to the VIP Lounge. Only certain people can get in. I can bring Gerald and you, of course."
"VIP? Seriously?" Brandon and Kyle were instantly impressed.
Harold lifted his chin. "Yes. But unfortunately, access is only for ten people, because almost the entire room is booked."
Gerald straightened up again, as if honor had just been restored. He smiled; even if it was ten people, he was safe from humiliation.
Gerald invited the people who remained not to drink from Mark, even though there were more than ten. But their steps stopped when the server approached.
"Sorry, the VIP Lounge is booked. One guest just booked the entire room. The capacity is ten people."
Everyone's eyes simultaneously shifted. And Mark Olson closed the menu book quietly, handing over his black card. "That's me."
Shock swept through the room.
"You paid for thirty people?!"
"VIP Lounge Avenue is the most expensive in Stone City, bro..."
"Olson is crazy! Where did he get that kind of money?"
Gerald was trembling. Gwen spontaneously threw a tantrum. "You're embarrassing me! Even this outcast can be cooler than you!"
Gerald lost control. In a fit of rage, he pushed Gwen to the ground. Everyone fell silent. Gwen got up, her face flushed with embarrassment and anger.
"This is all your fault!" she shouted at Mark.
She grabbed the glass, throwing it at Mark. But her hand missed. It hit an elegant woman who had just entered the room.
Her black dress glistened in the lamplight. Her aura left everyone speechless.
Gerald turned pale. "Shit... we're out!" he recognized the woman. She was the daughter of the biggest shareholder of Stone City Avenue. She was famous for being fierce and cruel.
Kean and most of the people also knew her. She was a very cold businesswoman.
The woman stood up, then turned to Mark. A friendly smile appeared on her lips.
“Are you Mark? The guy who helped my dad at the restaurant? I saw your face on my father's cell phone."
Everyone was shocked. Gwen was wide-eyed, and Gerald was lost for words; he thought she would be angry.
She walked over to Mark, then stood by his side as if to emphasize her choice. "If I may, I would like to invite you to join my party."
The crowd was getting noisier. Not only had Mark purchased the VIP Lounge, but he was also standing with a beautiful woman who was clearly from the upper class.

Gerald trembled with anger. Harold tried to cover his embarrassment with a stiff laugh and quietly retreated to avoid the commotion. At the same time, Gwen was still staring at Mark with simmering hatred.
Kean approached, whispering. "Bro... do you realize? You're not just flexing. You've made history at the Avenue."
