The resumption

As Lexi walked through the grand entrance of Ravenswood Academy, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. She had never been to a school like this before, and she wasn't sure what to expect. She made her way to her first class, which was an art history class. As she walked into the classroom, she noticed a figure sitting alone in the corner, hunched over a sketchbook. The figure looked up, and Lexi's heart skipped a beat as she realized it was the mysterious guy she had met the day before. He was even more handsome in the daylight, with piercing brown eyes that seemed to see right through her. He looked away, his eyes returning to his sketchbook. Lexi watched, fascinated, as his pencil moved deftly across the page, bringing a beautiful landscape to life. The teacher, Mrs. Johnson, began to introduce herself, and Lexi took her seat, trying to focus on the lesson. But she couldn't help sneaking glances at the mysterious guy, who was now completely absorbed in his drawing. As the class progressed, Lexi learned that the mysterious guy's name was Julian Blackwood, and that he was not only a student at Ravenswood Academy but also a talented artist and billionaire heir. However, the only person he seemed to acknowledge was his friend, the blond-haired guy Lexi had met with him the day before. They exchanged a few quiet words, but Julian didn't look up or acknowledge anyone else in the class. Lexi felt a little intimidated by Julian's aloofness, but she was also curious. What was it about him that seemed so mysterious and intriguing?. As the class came to a close, Lexi packed up her things and stood up, looking around the classroom. That's when she saw a girl with curly brown hair and a bright smile walking towards her. "Hi, I'm Ava," the girl said, extending her hand. "I couldn't help but notice you're new here." Lexi shook Ava's hand, feeling a little more at ease. "I'm Lexi. Yeah, I just transferred here." Ava's eyes lit up. "No way! I love meeting new people. So, what do you think of Ravenswood so far?" Lexi shrugged. "It's definitely different from my old school. I'm still getting used to it." Ava nodded sympathetically. "I know how you feel. I transferred here last year, and it took me a while to adjust." As they talked, Lexi found herself feeling more and more comfortable around Ava. They discussed everything from their favorite classes to their hobbies and interests. At one point, Ava glanced over at Julian, who was packing up his sketchbook. "So, have you met Julian Blackwood yet?" she asked Lexi. Lexi nodded. "Yeah, I met him yesterday." Ava raised an eyebrow. "And what did you think of him?" Lexi hesitated, unsure of how to respond. "I...I don't know. He seems kind of...intimidating, I guess." Ava nodded knowingly. "Yeah, he can be a bit intimidating at first. But honestly, Lexi, Julian is kind of a mystery. He's really talented, but he's also super introverted. He doesn't really talk to anyone, except for maybe his friend,Liam". Lexi's curiosity was piqued. "Really? Why is that?" Ava shrugged. "I'm not really sure. Some people say he's just really focused on his art, and he doesn't have time for anything else. But others say there's more to it than that...that he's hiding something." Lexi's eyes widened as she glanced over at Julian, who was now walking out of the classroom. She couldn't help but wonder what his story was, and why he seemed so mysterious and intriguing. ********** As Ava and Lexi walked through the school corridors, Ava pointed out different landmarks. "This is the library, and over there is the auditorium. We have school plays and assemblies there." Lexi's eyes widened as she took in the sights. "Wow, this school is huge! I love the architecture." Ava grinned. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Okay, so this is the cafeteria. We have lunch here every day." As they walked into the cafeteria, Lexi's eyes scanned the room. "It's so big! I see tables and chairs, and a stage over there." Ava nodded. "Yeah, we have performances and announcements on the stage. Okay, so let's grab some lunch. I'm starving!" They walked over to the food counter, where Lexi's eyes widened at the variety of options. "Wow, you guys have so many choices! What's good here?" Ava thought for a moment. "Hmm, the pizza is always good, and the salads are fresh. But if you're feeling adventurous, you could try the school's famous 'mystery meat' sandwich." Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Mystery meat? That sounds... interesting." Ava grinned. "Trust me, it's an experience. But if you're not feeling brave, we can just get pizza or sandwiches." After they grabbed their lunch, they sat down at a table to eat. As they chatted and laughed, Lexi felt like she was finally starting to fit in. When the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Ava stood up. "Okay, let's go grab some treats from the snacks bar over there ". "But we just had lunch ", Lexi insisted. Ava's eyes lit up. "They have amazing cupcakes there". Lexi raised an eyebrow "Really? Cupcakes, you say? Alright, let's go see for ourselves!". "You didn't want to go check out the cupcakes at first, but now you're suddenly excited. What changed your mind?". "I have my reasons ", Lexi replied vaguely. As they entered the shop, Lexi's eyes scanned the display cases filled with cupcakes, cookies, and other sweet treats. Ava's eyes landed on the chocolate cupcakes. "Ooh, I love chocolate! Let's get two of those." The cashier handed them their cupcakes, and Lexi took a bite. "Wow, this is so good! But I think I can make something even better." Ava smiled, intrigued. "Really? You think you can top this?" Lexi nodded confidently. "Yeah, I do. I work at a cake shop, and I've been experimenting with new recipes." Just then, Julian and Liam walked into the shop, catching Ava and Lexi's eye. Liam smiled and waved at Ava, and she smiled back at him.
