I wasn't sure how Theodore did things with Phillip but I had questions that needed answered. Like, for instance, who was this wealthy "family friend"? Why would they offer such an insane proposal? He'd said they'd put in a few "concessions" and, as smart of a businessman as Theodore might be, that could lead to a potential legal nightmare if anything was being placed in that contract with unsavory intentions. I'd seen contracts including casinos added to the top floor, a bar on the bottom, with the makings of a money laundering ring. Eventually, plans like that always fell through. Worse, the responsibility of ethics would fall on Theodore, the owner of the establishment. It was his job to know what was going on within his own property.
