“We should reinforce the patrols. The attacks ceased after the last meeting with the elders, but lately I’ve been having this feeling something bad is about to happen.” Leo suggested during our private late meeting.
Jasper is normally in this meeting as well, but he has been watching over Faith. I don’t need that little wolf roaming around and distracting me. First, not knowing where she is stresses me. Two, when she’s alone, she always finds a way to annoy me. Three, I can’t be the one watching over her. The bond has been increasing to the point of craving to f**k her and complete the mate bond.
And the biggest reason of all is that I know that I need her. Putting her away is just an excuse to avoid the attraction I feel towards her.
