EPISODE ONE : never lost a case

Present day *****

I was on my way to the office driving one of my latest car a black Lamborghini, with my tinted windows up slamming my favorite imagine dragons song '' Thunder '', what a good way to start my day.

I have been paid to catch one of the traffic office who is keen on taking bribes and has been extorting a client of mine... So i decided to hit the road with my latte coffee no sugar just extra cream just the way i like.

I start hitting the road at a dangerous speed when i noticed i was close and the officer really did fall in my trap as he started chasing me forcing me to pull over.

After toiling with him a little i finally decided to pull over, the officer quickly came to me asking for drivers licenses and all the necessary documents which i happily provided. He forced me out of the car and i just had to play along this fucker doesn't even know who he is messing with.

After coming to the conclusion that all my papers are intact he finally asked what he should have asked from the beginning.

Why were you driving over the speed limit ? He asked in a very stern tune.

Cause i was in a hurry i replied in a very bored tune.

From the corner of my eye i could see him sizing me up and taking a closer look at my clothes trying to figure out the brand am wearing. I intentionally decided to rock a dark red Louis Vuitton suit today with a red bottom shoe a 1.5 million euro Richard Miller watch and a black Rey Ban eye glass.

After sizing me up and probably calculating how much he will make off me he finally called me to the side away from the street cameras, clever guy.

So i wouldn't want to mess up your day sir so let's just forget about the incident and i won't write you a ticket all you have to do is to show a little appreciation if you understand what i mean..

I was dumbfounded he said all this without a single remorse well too bad for him i got everything on camera and his going to be begging soon. Without revealing my identity i paid him off and drove away. He is going to be on his kneels soon and he won't be having that smug expression anymore.

My grip on the steering wheel tightens just thinking about all the bribes that asshole has collected from the citizens, i hate corrupt officials it just never sits well with me and those involved with the law gets on my nerves the most.

I turned on my radio and increase the volume so high that i couldn't even hear my thought but it was of no use the pain, the memories it all started coming back. Her body covered in blood but still refusing to give up, stilling standing by the truth. That has always been my driving force.

I closed my eyes trying to block the pain away but it still won't go away i quickly picked up my phone to call john my assistant and long time friend.

Helo john..

Marcus were are you ? john shouted on the phone i had to remove the phone from my ears.

What the f**k John are you planing to make me go deaf ??

John quickly apologized to Marcus telling him the hearing is starting soon so he needs to get to the court soon. John immediately disconnected the call and Marcus quickly took a turn.

Third person POV***

Thank you so much attorney Marcus, if it wasn't for you i would have lost my company and be behind bars at the moment i do owe u a lot, his client cried out.

he was trapped by his own best friend that wanted to steal his company, he was fooled into signing his shares over without reading the document he signed trusting his best friend. when the tables turned he couldn't help but cry then a friend introduced him to attorney Marcus who has never lost a cause.

even when he thought they was no way for him attorney Marcus won he case with just one hearing. he had some how managed to collect CCTV footage from my company and even recorded calls and forged documents. he was really amazing i most give it to him.

all thanks to him i was declared a free man and Thompson my best friend and formal business partner is now locked up.

after thanking him and him refusing my dinner offer i left with my family.

john POV ******

as usual Marcus won the case not once has he ever lost a case he is fast and efficient and am really glad to be working with him.

I received a call from one of our client that hired us for a job concerning a corrupt road safety officer. he called to thank us for handling the case stating that the officer has been fired.

so that's what took Marcus so long i didn't even know that he had taken care of the case. our balance was then deposited to our account.

working with Marcus has its peeks we were one of the best lawyers in Mexico, we have never lost a case and we only take case were we support the truth. so ya we are f*****g living the dream.
