"You're upset, I don't know what I did wrong, but I am still sorry for having put you through so much heartache even though I didn't know it!" I said, angered by his instant emotional reaction. For a psychologist, he was very puzzling to me. He hung up on me after a moment of silence. I was getting fed up and guilt wasn't something I was ready to carry.
Time had passed and I knew I had to start getting ready for my evening date, after which, I had to send Ethan to a restaurant location to meet me. This could potentially take the entire night.
