Ella left the garden angry, Jake followed her pleading while she walked very fast. He didn't relent, when he got to where his bike was parked, he saw her standing there, he felt the overwhelming urge to make her forgive him at all costs. I'm sorry, I had no idea that you were against smoking, and what I said about the other girls, the only girls I've ever brought down here were Brittany and Allison and that was because they needed bouquets for an event, I told them I knew where they could pick fresh flowers and that was how they ended up here with me, trust me when I say, I've never brought anyone here like the way I did with you today. Hearing this gave Ella a little content and she felt slightly happy, the thought of the fact that she was the only one he had brought to the garden like this made her feel special, although she snapped out of that feeling immediately and said It's fine, just remember not to do something like that near me or an environment as sensitive as a garden. Jake's face shone with joy and he hoped on his bike, Ella too and they were off to school, P.E would almost be over Ella and Jake came back to school just at the end of the P.E. session, Indy was worried when she couldn't find Ella during P.E, she wondered if the OMG girls had done something to her, but she couldn't bring herself to ask them, all she could do was hope that she was okay wherever she was. When Indy saw Ella walking into the school with Jake by her side, she felt relieved and at the same time she felt a lot of anger rising in her, she was worried for nothing and Ella was with the only guy she ever had a crush on. The OMG girls had a really tough morning planned out for her at P.E but she didn't show up so their plans were delayed. When they saw her walking with Jake in the hall way going to class, they felt that it was the right time to execute their plans. Ella was still all smiles, thinking about the time she and Jake spent together all morning, she never believed that someone like him could be that nice, she was still talking to Jake when a pie came flying across her face, then she heard one of the OMG girls saying "Thanks for getting us the right angle Jake, things would not have been this funny without your help" Jake had no idea what exactly was happening but somehow he was dragged into the whole thing and Ella wasn't even ready for an explanation, all that was on her mind was how she was going to wash off the mess on her face. Jake tried to follow her and explain that he knew nothing about it, but Ella wouldn't even listen, he tried following her to apologize but she snapped at him, she was so angry at him. Her clothes were messed up, not to talk of her hair, everything was a disaster and right now the only person she resented was Jake, she hated herself for thinking that he has good intentions, he was just as cruel and as unruly as the first day they met. School was soon over and Ella went home. After a long shower, she came to the kitchen to help her mother prepare dinner, her dad wasn't back but it was almost time for him to return, the doorbell rang and Ella's mum went to get the door, Ella could hear her mum conversing with someone and she was certain it wasn't her dad, so who could the mystery person be, a lot of people had crossed her mind and she had been pulled into deep thought when the call of her name by her mother pulled her back into reality, when she got to the living room, she was surprised at who she saw, Jake!, she said with a rather disgusting look on her face, her mum told her that the young man was here for her and that it would be rude to keep him waiting, while Ella sat her mum returned to the kitchen to finish the preparations for dinner. What are you doing here? Ella asked, in a tone that made it sound more like a threat than a question. I'm just here to clear up things about what happened this morning and just before you say you don't want to hear anything about it, I plead with you that you at least listen to the first five sentences. Look, I know that things felt really suffocating this morning but I'm just here to let you know that I wasn't in anyway aware of what those girls had planned and I can swear on it if you want, I just happened to be caught up in the whole mess, I swear that I wouldn't do anything that'll make you sad, at least not anymore. Jake had become fond of Ella just after the few minutes they spent in the garden earlier that morning, he didn't want to loose what felt like a real friendship and that feeling was with Ella. I know it's hard to believe me, but I assure you that I didn't know about they're plans, and if it makes you feel any better, know that I personally took it upon myself to report them to school authority and had them adequately punished. I swear I would never do anything to make you angry or sad, you're the first real friend I've had since after the death if my sister and I really don't want to loose something as precious as that, that's why I'm pleading with you, I really want you know that there's nothing that is ever do to hurt you. Please just forgive me. Ella wasn't sure about what to say, she didn't want to be friends and she also didn't want to be enemies, while she was still lost in thought, her father walked in, he was happy seeing that Ella already had friends that were comfortable enough to sit in his house, he liked the fact that she wasn't isolated and restricted. Ella's parents made Jake stay for dinner, after dinner Ella decided to walk him down their street and that was when she decided that she'd forgiven him but not fully, so now they weren't friends neither were there enemies, that were 'Frenemies'
