The Absence. “What?” “Exactly! It kind of makes you a chicken. Doesn’t it?” I replied with a cunning look. He looked open mouthed at me not because I called his ways bullshit but because I called him a chicken. We both had reached the end of the corridor towards the stairs when I suddenly felt a jerk and was being dragged by my bag towards an empty class. He reached the class and just when I was about to shout, he pulled me inside. He pushed me toward the wall and stood in front of me. I swear, if it weren’t for the uncomfortable bag between me and the wall, the scene would look exactly like in the movies. “Do it!” he looked at me. “Let’s see who’s the chicken now” I could not believe him.
