Chapter 4 : Mate..?

Mate..?

Derek's P O V :

I picked up the last box of clothes and placed it in my room . Me and my brother moved down to a new neighborhood so that we could learn how to live in peace with humans according to my father . Oh Sorry I haven't introduced myself ..I'm Derek Black and my brother was Erik Black as you can guess we were twins , next in line of throne to Black moon Pack . My father Peter Black was the current alpha of the pack but we will took over after we turned 20 .Like normal werewolves we both shifted when we were 18 and from since we were looking for our mate . Since we were identical twins basically we were cloned formed from one fertilized eggs which got divided into two so we could have one mate . I was desperately searching for my mate while my brother on the other hand spent his time partying , hooking up and doing all those horny teenager stuff . Currently I'm 19 now but still hadn't find my mate . After moving We went to the nearest mall to explore the town and bought some clothes. We were on our way to the food court while Erik left with a girl to the bathroom I guess for a quick f**k . I made my way toward the food court and suddenly my wolf Xavier howled happily . I didn't understand first why he was howling but then I caught up a scent .

A unique scent almost like soil after first rainfall so refreshing that I could literally smell it all day all night long . The smell was faint and there were so many people so I searched for the source of the scent . Finally I found a family of five two boys and one girl with their parents , one of which could me our mate but as I was going to meet them they just finished their lunch and left . I mind liked Erik immediately , telling him I almost found our mate . After a few minutes an irritated Erik came and we roamed around the town searching for our mate . After a search of three days we could not even find our mate so Erik was fed up and refused to search search anymore .

He said and I quote " Why the f**k should I search for a person who clearly doesn't want to be found " . So he just called one of his f**k buddies and left home . I on the other hand was disappointed .

Xavier grumbled sadly in my head probably sad about not finding his mate . I used to listen to my father how moon goddess create mate . Mate were like two halves of a whole . When two mate met , the feeling was euphoric , I always wanted to have that feeling so I promised to save my self for our mate . Erik on the other hand was so disheartened and sad after not finding mate he started partying , hooking up with almost every possible creature on this earth . Rest of the days followed this way , an endless search for mate without actually finding it . Erik was busy as usual always partying or hooking up . I could not understand how did he even make friends in a new town so easily . Finally It was Monday and a new day in the new school . My father transferred us to the nearest human school .

Erik and I both dressed in black jeans , shirts and jackets parked our BMW 3 and went toward the school . I can feel eyes on me and could smell their arousal but that normally didn't have any effect on me , Erik on the other was clearly interested . We made it to the homeroom and got our schedules , while leaving Xavier again howled in my head and I caught up the same scent but this time it was more intense. I looked at Erik and I could feel he also caught up the same scent . I felt Xavier howling in my head ready to take over but I calmed him down and followed the source. We came across a class whose door was shut after a moment of hesitation Erik pushed and opened the door asking May We Come In..? I searched the scent and finally found the source . A pure angelic boy with black messy hair , round eyes , plump pink lips...

I looked at Erik Who was already staring at our mate . Someone cleared his throat whom I assumed to be Professor , after introducing ourselves he told us we were in wrong room and our room was upstairs. I could see that our mate was already affected by our presence so we left . Rest of the classes were difficult , Xavier was grunting and groaning about seeing his mate . Finally it was lunch time and we both went to the Cafeteria . We already made some friends with the popular guys so we were sitting with them .

I was searching for My mate when he came with a girl laughing and suddenly my wolf became tensed . Normally werewolves were possessive about their mate but since I'm an alpha in my case it was ten times more . He ordered a sandwich and sat down in a corner. He abruptly stood from his chair and headed towards bathroom I guess .. So I followed him . I was hesitant to burst in but my wolf was really angry and he wanted to know if my mate was with someone else or not . So I decide to go in but someone bumped into me and sparks flew through my body . It was like time has stopped , me and my mate were the only ones here....He apologized ..His voice sounded like music to my ear .

He is so cute Xavier said in my head and I nodded . I introduced myself and he said he was Arhaan . I could feel he was affected by the mate bond but might not recognize it since he was only human and damn he stuttered while introducing himself .

I wanted to talk more but he just walked right passed me so I calmed my self a little and went back to the table . I was staring at him and he stared at me ...the moment our eyes met it was phenomenal but after a few minutes he averted his gaze like he was afraid of someone . My wolf was getting restless and when Erik asked me about Arhaan , I refused to tell him anything . I could sense he was irritated through twin bond and he started flirting with one of the girls . Finally the classes were over and I went for my mate only to realize he just left with his family . After a while Erik came grinning and when I asked he just refused to tell anything . But then I smelled Arhaan on him so I sort of knew what happened. Looked like my who the hell care about mate type bro really could not resist and went to see his mate . We went home , had dinner and I fell asleep dreaming about my beautiful mate .

Erik's P O V :

Life sucked . No matter who you are what you are it still sucked . I'm Erik Black , the future alpha of Black moon pack was now picking up furniture because my father thought it was best for me and Derek to spent a few year along with humans in order to live peacefully . I'm 19 and still searching for my mate which seemed to me more impossible day by day so I said to myself screw this whole thing . Since then my only motto is party and countless s*x . I have slept with every creature pretty much like werewolves, humans , mermaid , shadow hunters , seelies . It was always good s*x for me but I never felt euphoric like the way you were supposed to feel . May be I could only feel that with my mate if he or she decided to show up one day . After unpacking everything we both drove to a mall and bought a few things. Derek was hungry so he decided to eat and I was hungry as well so I went towards the bathroom following a pretty girl who was eye-f*****g me earlier.

The moment we stepped in the bathroom luckily no one was there so I pinned her to the wall and started kissing her . She moaned while parting her lips which gained me access to her mouth . I decided not to search anymore and called a few friends .What was the point of it all... ? My cousin still haven't found their mate even though it's been more than seven years they shifted. Finally it was first day of new school , we parked our all new BMW 3 and headed towards the homeroom . After picking my schedules I caught up a scent. We both practically ran , followed the scent and with each step it grew intense and Xander was howling happily in my mind . We came across a class whose door was shut , I looked at Derek he was a little hesitant so I pushed the door open asking May We Come In....?

After some time Derek left and then a few minutes after he came smiling . When I asked he refused to tell me anything ..So what like I care ...I sat there flirting with few girls and had my launch . Finally the classes were over and I was going down ..When I saw my mate tripped over on something , instantly with my inhuman speed I ran towards him and grabbed him towards my self he collided with me and the hugged me in a reflex . The moment our skin touch sparks flew through my entire body shaking my core . Xander again howled happily being near his mate . My mate jolted backwards after realizing our intimacy

"How cute" Xander said .

I asked him "Are you okay " ?

He seemed a little a confused after hearing my voice may be he thought I was Derek , so I introduced myself as Erik . He just thanked me and left . Though I did not get his name but I was sure I was happy just by seeing him so near . I came to the parking lot grinning when Derek asked me what happened and I refused to say . Pay back is a b***h . I sat in the Car and Derek drove to home . We had dinner and Derek went to sleep while I on the other hand intend to visit my mate.
