The Night Alone

As they perused the menu, Tyler asked, "Mia, have you tried their signature burger? It's supposed to be amazing."

Mia scanned the options, her eyes widening at the variety. "Actually, I was thinking of trying the grilled chicken salad. How about you?"

Tyler nodded, closing his menu. "Yeah, I'll go for the burger. And hey, have you heard about that new virtual reality exhibit coming to town?"

Mia's eyes lit up. "No, tell me more! I love VR experiences."

As they waited for their orders, they chatted about everything from the latest sci-fi movies to their favorite hiking trails. Tyler shared a funny story about his cat, Mr. Whiskers, and Mia laughed, recounting a hilarious mishap with her own pet, Luna.

When their food arrived, they dug in, savoring the flavors and textures. "Mmm, this salad is incredible!" Mia exclaimed.

Tyler grinned, taking a bite of his burger. "Told you the food is Amazing!!”

Mia took a sip of her drink, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "So, Tyler, what's the most spontaneous thing you've ever done?"

Tyler thought for a moment, a grin spreading across his face. "Hmm, that's a tough one. But I think it was when I decided to take a road trip to the beach on a whim. I packed my bags, grabbed my surfboard, and hit the road. It was an amazing adventure!"

Mia's eyes widened in excitement. "That sounds incredible! I've always wanted to learn how to surf. Maybe you can teach me sometime?"

Tyler laughed. "Definitely! I'd love to teach you how to catch some waves. And hey, speaking of adventures, have you heard about that new escape room that just opened up downtown?"

Mia's eyes lit up. "No, but that sounds like so much fun! We should totally check it out together."

As they continued to chat, their conversation flowed effortlessly, jumping from one topic to the next. They discovered shared interests, laughed at each other's jokes.

After finishing their dinner , Tyler and Mia walked to the escape room, eager to test their problem-solving skills. As they entered the themed room, they were immersed in a detective scenario, tasked with solving a mysterious crime.

Tyler's eyes scanned the room, taking in the clues. "Alright, let's get to work! We have 60 minutes to c***k the case."

Mia grinned, her competitive spirit ignited. "Game on! I'm ready to sleuth my way out of here."

Together, they searched for hints, decoded messages, and pieced together the puzzle. Their collaboration was seamless, with Tyler's analytical mind complementing Mia's creative thinking.

As the clock ticked down, they raced against time to unravel the mystery. With each obstacle overcome, their excitement grew.

Finally, with just seconds to spare, they solved the final clue, triumphant smiles spreading across their faces.

"Yes! We did it!" Mia exclaimed, high-fiving Tyler.

As they left the escape room,Tyler and Mia strolled to the nearby ice cream parlor, eager to celebrate with a cool, creamy reward. As they scanned the colorful flavors, Mia's eyes widened at the options.

"Tyler, they have matcha green tea ice cream! My favorite!"

Tyler grinned. "Awesome! I'll try the strawberry cheesecake. Let's get a cone to go and enjoy it in the park."

As they licked their cones, they strolled through the park, savoring the sweet treats and the warm sunshine. They found a cozy bench.

Mia turned to Tyler, her eyes sparkling. "This has been the perfect day. Thanks for suggesting the escape room and ice cream!"

Tyler smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "No problem mia I’ll take you home after we finish this ice cream it is getting late “

Their conversation flowed easily, like a sweet melody, as they enjoyed their ice cream and each other's company Tyler drove her home afterwards

As they pulled up at the penthouse , she turned to Tyler with a grateful smile. "Thanks for the amazing day, Tyler. I had a blast!"

Tyler smiled back, his eyes shining with warmth. "Anytime, my night was amazing thanks to you ."

Mia's heart fluttered slightly at the sincerity in his voice. "Goodnight Ty, Get home safe”she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Tyler nodded, his gaze holding hers for a moment. "Definitely. Sweet dreams, Mia."

As she stepped out of the car and onto the sidewalk, Mia felt a sense of joy and contentment wash over her. She waved goodbye to Tyler and walked inside, meeting Sara and Chloe on the couch. Their eyes filled with curiosity

“ how dare you ditch me” mia yelled attacking them playfully

“Calm down vixen wanted you two to have a private time”Chloe said and Mia rolled her eyes joining them on the couch

"So, how was the night?" Sara asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mia flopped down beside them, a dreamy smile still plastered on her face. "It was amazing! Tyler is so much fun to be around. We did an escape room, got ice cream, and just enjoyed each other's company."

Chloe raised an eyebrow. "Escape room, huh? How did you two do?"

Mia giggled. "We rocked it! We solved the mystery with just seconds to spare. And then we celebrated with ice cream."

Sara squealed. "That sounds like so much fun! I'm glad you guys had a great time."

The three friends chatted and laughed, reliving the highlights of Mia's adventure with Tyler. As they talked, Mia realized that she couldn't stop smiling, her heart still aglow from the wonderful day she had just had.

Hoping to meet him soon she went to her bed dreaming of a particular Tyler.

Tyler got home smiling from ear to ear been a long time. He had fun like this. He even forgot to take her number. He can’t wait to spend more time with her. It’s been years after… he shook his head, not wanting to remember anything about his past.
