The twins' introduction ball is today. In addition, it is the day I have to address the entire kingdom. I have been struggling to think of the right words to use to explain things clearly to them. I do not want them to fear me. I want them to know that I am the same person that they have come to know and love. Just after today they will know the truth.
I sigh as I look down at the twins. With their werewolf genes they have developed faster than a human baby. The two of them are crawling all over the floor of the playroom, playing with their toys. Heath has begun to pull himself up to a standing position while holding on to the furniture. Violet refuses to stand, preferring to crawl everywhere she goes. I smile as I watch them play.
