Chapter 1

March 3020 Almost half a century has gone by since earth’s first contact with extraterrestrial life. These years saw unprecedented advancements in technology and space travel. Our new alien friends, Sukaras, introduced us to thousands of alien species inhabiting different corners of our universe. Their technology made it possible for us to travel to different solar systems and even galaxies, leading to an exchange of information and goods. Communication and trade channels were established with nearby inhabited planets. Earth was no longer isolated from the rest of the universe, and we were even successful in becoming part of the intergalactic society called IGS Supreme, an organization which helps maintain peace in the universe. Our armies received training and weaponry from them so that they can protect us better from possible invaders or space pirates. Since earth is a newly discovered planet, it has become a famous hotspot for space tourism, and we have welcomed several travelers from various planets. Some of them, mainly scientists and historians, even settled on earth. It isn’t entirely uncommon to spot aliens roaming our streets and enjoying what earth has to offer. Earth is still a baby planet and many advanced alien species consider humans as weak and inferior life forms. One of them being Arionians, an ancient alien species belonging to the planet of Arion in the Astra galaxy. They are known to be highly intelligent, one of the first species to undertake space travel through wormholes, and fierce warriors, tasked with maintaining peace and eliminating threats by IGS Supreme. Amara – On Earth Today is officially the worst day of my life. It started with a stranger spilling coffee on my crisp white shirt, forcing me to go back home to change and ultimately making me late for work. It was a downward spiral after that. If getting screamed at by my boss at 9:30 in the morning for being tardy was not enough, I was told off by an important client in front of the entire office for something which wasn’t even my fault. After slaving away at work for more than 12 hours that day, I was informed by my boss that they were letting me go due to an unfortunate downsizing. He told me to pack up my things and handed me a ridiculously small retrenchment package. I was furious but also completely devastated. It wasn’t easy to land a job in this economy and I was completely broke after getting my wrecked car fixed last month. I was too proud to ask my parents or sister for money, so I decided to drown my sorrows in some cheap alcohol for the night and leave the stress for tomorrow. By midnight, me and my best friend oommate were too drunk to think rationally and in no condition to make any life-changing decisions. And that’s when the real trouble began. “I have a brilliant idea, Alia!” I yelled at my best friend who was busy inhaling the pizza we ordered 10 mins ago. “What now?” she mumbled, still chewing and looking rather disinterested. “Remember the alien dating hotline that Kayla talked about last month? I think I’m going to call and sign myself up for a date with a hot, rich alien. Hopefully, he will fall in love with me at first sight and take me away to a far-off planet to have his cute mixed babies and then I’ll never have to work a day in my life.” I sighed, fantasizing about my savior. Alia rolled her eyes at me. “Amara, you need to stop reading these romance novels. They’re clearly getting to your head.” “I know this happening in real life is next to impossible. But it’s fun to think about it. Don’t be such a spoilsport.” I said exasperatedly. She was killing my mood. “If you really want to try it, let’s do it. What’s the worst that could happen? If nothing else, you get to ride a hot alien d**k. Seriously, when was the last time you got laid? It will do wonders in relieving your stress.” she slurred, surprisingly getting on board with my absurd idea. “You’re absolutely right. Let’s do it!” After getting a stamp of approval from Alia, I hurried over to my phone and dialed the hotline without a second thought. “Hello?” I spoke. “Greetings! This is the alien dating hotline. How can we help you?” an overly cheerful voice answered me. “I’m Amara, a human female aged 25 and I want to go on a date with an alien male.” I replied, pleased with myself for not slurring. “Very well. That’s wonderful dear. We don’t usually get human females volunteering to go on dates. I will sign you up for a blind date right away. Do you have any requirements or specific demands regarding species, physical attributes, or even s****l preferences? We have a wide variety in our database!” she said excitedly. “Umm, I want to be surprised, but I prefer someone who looks similar to humans and has similar anatomy as human males” I replied bashfully. I didn’t want to end up with an alien having two c***s like the Trakkan males or several tentacles like the Sukara males. I shuddered, thinking about the video Kayla showed me a few weeks ago of Sukaras pleasuring each other with their giant tentacles. “Great! No worries, dear. Now all I need is your social security number, so I have access to all your public information, and I will find you a perfect match in no time.” “Thank you” I said, giving her my details and then hanging up the phone. “This was way easier and quicker than I thought. I can’t believe I did it.” I laughed. “Kayla will be proud. She has been hounding you to go on a date for months. You can finally tell her you’re making her wish come true. And that too with an alien!” Alia started laughing with me. That night we both end up falling asleep in the living room, drinking, and laughing. But what I didn’t know then, was how a single phone call would change my life forever.
