We moved through the darkness like shadows; Zee in front and Selene behind me, her cloak whispering against the cold night air. The great house ahead gleamed under the faint light of the crescent moon. That was supposed to be my father’s house, my house. Now it reeked of another Alpha’s scent.
Two guards spotted us first.
