(Kian’s POV) The night was quiet. The moonlight spilled through the open window, tracing silver lines across our bed. Lena slept beside me, her back turned to me, her breathing soft and even. I stared at the ceiling, wide awake. Again. I turned slightly, watching the rise and fall of her shoulders. She was beautiful and more than that, she was kind, patient and loyal. Everything a Luna should be. And yet… I clenched my jaw and cursed under my breath. This wasn’t the first night it happened.
