Nyra’s POV The moment we got home, I didn’t wait for anyone. I ordered the kitchen maid to brew my herbal tea, the same bitter mix Zee ordered for me, to keep my hormones steady. My hands were still trembling when I sat in my study. I took the first sip. The heat calmed and controlled me. It was exactly what I needed. Rohan entered without knocking. He stopped at the door, studying me with those sharp, soldier eyes. “Are you okay?” he asked softly. I didn’t look up. I didn’t trust my eyes to hide anything, especially after what happened in the woods. Runa was still restless under my skin. “I’m fine,” I said, keeping my tone flat. But Rohan didn’t buy it.
