Nyra’s POV “Nyra, are you still sleeping?” The voice drifted through the fog in my head, faint at first, then firm and commanding. “Rise, my dear. You’ve slept too long.” My eyelids felt heavy. I fought to open them, blinking against the dim glow of a lamp. The air was warm and smelled of herbs and damp stone. I pushed myself up from the narrow cot beneath me, confusion clouding my thoughts. An old, strong man sat before me, his silver beard catching the lamplight.
