Luna huffs in frustration as the darkness starts to make way for the morning light. There is still enough of it to see the fading glow of the compass but there is still one more path to follow before she reaches the witch’s cove. If she is right about the zig-zags on the map, she should be heading somewhere near the sea, on the other side of the beach where Cain took her for lunch. She wonders what time it is and if Cain already knows she’s not in her room. They should finish training soon, but somebody must have already reported her getting out of the house. Maybe Cain is too busy training and figures she’ll be safe as long as she stays in the territory anyway. She turns left and curses when she meets a dead end. A path that leads directly to a solid wall made of giant boulders. Unnat
