Carters POV:
My Mom and I walk out onto the back porch and sit down at the table. I can't believe she's here right now, it's weird having her back in my life especially under these circumstances.
"I don't know how to say how sorry I am that I haven't been in your life for all of these years. I missed out on everything it feels like," She says wiping a stray tear off of her cheek.
I take her hand a squeeze it "I don't blame you for anything, it was dad's fault that any of this even happened. It does suck that I didn't have you to support me throughout high school but I know you did it in a place of love,".
