Chapter 45-
We stay quiet for a while to let the mics pick up their conversation. Once the business talk is over the men still stay and chat, thankfully we got all of the information we needed out of them. Chloe and I whisper to each other off and on, but suddenly one of the men speaks up.
“No whispering over there, why don’t you share with the class,” says scar guy, who I found out his name is Nate.
“We were just saying how lucky we are to be in a room with such influential men,” Chloe says stepping in front of me. I resist the urge to roll my eyes knowing that’s the last thing we were both thinking about.
