Chapter Eight The Call of the Wild I fell asleep for a few hours and woke up feeling completely refreshed. I seemed to need less sleep since my transformation. Since I didn’t have much time before I had to pick up the girls from school, I stayed at home in the shadows with the air conditioner on full blast and the blinds pulled down.
