Not only had there been that screw-up with Brian, but today was the day that Holley and Cole came to the clubhouse to meet everyone. And I was practically buzzing with nervousness. What if they didn't like her? What if they didn't think my sacrifices for them were worth it? What if something happened to Cole? Not that I thought anything would happen to the boy, but … well, I was a father now, and I couldn't help worrying.
