Chapter 4 After Aron shared the news that Clay was alive and conscious, the group pressed on but more slowly now. It seemed even the Trogues were tiring. Perhaps a mile farther on to the west, Alex flew up, landed, and shifted back to his normal form. “It looks like the group’s stopping for the night,” he said. “Did you see any sign of others?” Aron asked. Manuel joined them just in time to hear that question. He answered at once. “Just one big encampment about twenty miles southeast of us. I’d say the leader this group mentioned is with them, in charge probably.
