Chapter 5 They strained together. Clay felt as if he must merge into Aron, meld their flesh into a single unit. Clothing became an encumbrance, an intolerable barrier. No longer cold, he burned with need, with hunger so intense it threatened to consume him. Hating to relinquish his hold on Aron long enough to deal with buttons and zippers and belts, he still had to. Trying to undress one-handed proved painfully awkward.
