Leaving Clay and the two young agents, Aron made his way back to the three members of his band with whom he was scouting. One was Marishal, Clay’s younger half-brother. In Elven years Mar was still considered a youth, barely done with his basic schooling. However, he seemed to have inherited much of his notorious father’s charisma, intelligence, and unswerving determination. He had been bent on joining Aron’s expedition, coming to the earth his father could no longer visit and taking part in resisting the Trogues.
