Chapter 1 Krishna Kumar was unable to take admission in Ph.D. even after cleared entrance examination of university several times, it was not that he had no qualification. Even after passing the national eligibility examination, he was unable to get admission. Because he had not any type of recommendation or money. This time also he could not get succeed admission in Ph.D. even topper of the entrance examination.

He got ready to get admission in the private m-Phil program of the university on the suggestions of Professor James Carter. But he had no money to pay the fees. So he got permission to deposit fees of course in installments by writing a letter to the head of the department. In order to deposit the installments, he started giving coaching to the children.

Two of his friends were Mahendra Pal and Dinesh Pandey. Mahendra Pal succeeds to get admission in Ph.D. due to fellowship. And Dinesh Pandey gets admission in Ph.D. because he was the son of the district magistrate. He was got rank very lower than Krishna.

On 25 December 2009, three Idiots starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor was released. And on the night of January 1, 2010, they went to the fun CINEMA of Gomati Nagar to see the film, after seeing the film, they were coming back from their motorbikes back to their hostels. There were no vehicles on the road because of the coldness of January. That’s why they were returning slowly by talking to each other about the film.

"The character of Rancho das of three idiots played by the Amir Khan was fantastic,” Krishna Kumar said

“Yes, but the character of Chatur Ram Lingam played by Omi Waidh, represent the present scenario of Indian education system who want a rank holder by any means" Mahendra Pal replied

“Yes you are absolutely right, and Prof. Viru Shahsatra Buddhi’s role played by Woman Irani, shows typical Indian professor and father who want his children must be followed as his family hierarchy,” Dinesh Pandey said

Suddenly, Krishna's eyes fell on the banks of the bridge, on the bridge a woman standing seems to be was going to suicide by the jump from the bridge into the river.

And he said to Mahendra Pal that "see brother, the woman is going to kill herself, you have to increase your motorcycle’s speed".

"Oh, yes brother, you are right, I will speed up the bike," said Mahendra Pal, after that they "do not do this by screaming". But the woman did not listen to one of them and jumped into the river.

"Krishna! She jumped into the river," Mahendra Pal said

"Yes brother, still we can reach there and save her" Krishna Kumar replied

"Yes you are right," Mahendra Pal said

Due to lack of water in the river, the woman had fallen into the mud and the because of injuries was crying, these three boys came down from the river’s bank and reached to her, and dragged out from to the river’s bank.

After this they washed the mud by water, due to the light on the banks of the river, her face was clearly visible, by seeing her Krishna Kumar said "Hey guys, I think saw him somewhere"

"Yes, this is not a woman, this is a hermaphrodite, you must have seen it begging somewhere” Mahendra Pal replied

"No, I have not seen begging, but first we have to take him to the safe place," Krishna Kumar said

"We can be handed over to police,” Mahendra Pal asked

"No, we can't do so, because there is no police. And also it a condition very critical. So we have to give first-add to it if we reached to government hospital must be needed some police formalities, until that it will be dangerous for life “Dinesh Pandey replied

"Then now, what we will do to save its life?" Mahendra Pal said

“We can be reached easily doctor Kavita’s clinic which twenty-four-hour opened and also our college doctor, we can easily convince her” Krishna Kumar replied

“Yes, then what we will say to her about it?” Mahendra Pal said

"Yes, we will tell them that he is our friend from the village for roaming Lucknow. We bet to him that if he was ready as a girl, then we take him to roam Gomati Nagar. And he got ready, so we have brought him here, when we were returning, he fell from the bike “Krishna Kumar replied

"She has to believe in us," Krishna Kumar said

"Well, let's take it to the clinic,” Mahendra Pal replied

After this three of them take it to Doctor Kavita’s clinic which situated at the polytechnic intersection, reached to the clinic, and knocked on the door.

"Hello, is anyone here? Please open the door, it's an emergency," said Mahendra Pal

“yes-yes, what happened to her” a male nurse came out with stretchers

“He drowns into the river,” Mahendra Pal said by laying him on the stretcher

“Ok, she is a male, now it’s a police case, so please call the police,” the male nurse said

“Yes, we can call but right now, he must require first add” Mahendra Pal replied

“No-no, the first call to the police,” the nurse said

“You can call to Kavita maim said her about us, we are the scholars of the Middle Lax University and tell about us, I am Mahendra Pal, Krishna Kumar and Dinesh Pandey” Mahendra Pal replied

“Ok, sir, maim is in his own cabin,” the male nurse said

“You have to admit him first, we are going to talk to her, Dinesh Pandey you stay with him,” Mahendra Pal said

“Ok” both nurse and Dinesh Pandey replied

The nurse and Dinesh Pandey both taken him in for first add treatment. Mahendra Pal and Krishna Kumar both went to Dr.Kavita's cabin and knocked at the door

“Maim, can we come?” both said

“Yes, please come in” Kavita replied from inside the cabin

Both of them entered her cabin, she astonished by seeing both of them

“What are doing here both of you?” Kavita said

“Maim, my friend fell into the river Gomati, so we bring him here please check him,” Mahendra Pal said

“Ok, let’s we see him” Kavita replied

After that Kavita came out of the cabin and rushed to the emergency ward, to seeing and checking. And said “why you make him a girl, his throat filled with mud and some scratches, nothing is serious”

Mahendra Pal narrates the same story as Krishna Kumar told to him.

“Ok, I admitted him for a night, you will take him tomorrow,” Kavita said

“Ok, maim as you wish” Mahendra Pal replied

After the first add given to him, she said to Mahendra Pal “I had given him some medicines now, he is fine,”

“Thank you main” Mahendra Pal replied

“Ok, you three of them come into my cabin,” Kavita said

“Ok, maim” three of them replied

“You take care of him, if anything will going wrong with him, immediately call me,” Kavita said to Nurse

“Ok, maim” the nurse replied

After that three of them with Kavita went to Kavita’s cabin

"So tell me, how was the three i***t’s movie?” Kavita said

“What do you say maim?” three of them replied in a shocking manner

“I know that three of them come to see three idiots movie, I saw all of you outside of the Fun Cinema, now tell me about that boy,” Kavita said

“We are sorry maim” three of them replied

After that, all of them said to her everything about him.

“Ok, this is the matter,” Kavita said

“In this way, we thought to save him first, so we came with him to your clinic” Mahendra Pal said

“You have done right, now all of you have returned for college” Kavita replied

“Maim can we stay here? Because it too late, mid 1 Am of night” Mahendra Pal said

“Ok, three of you can stay into the common restroom of the clinic” Kavita replied

“Ok, thank you so much, maim,” three of them said

After that Mahendra Pal with his friend went to the common room to take a rest. And Kavita was sitting alone in the cabin and would try to nap. After some time nurse came to her cabin and said “madam, he had come in his conscious”

“Ok, Nadim let’s go see him,” Kavita said by straighten her body

After that, both went to near that patient.

He was laying on the bed crying and saying “why you save me? Why you didn’t let me dies”

Kavita went near to him and said “calm down, why you want to die? This life is a gift of God, why you want to waste it”

"Yes, I know very well about life, but what does it mean to live like this? Even I do not know anything about myself, so my life has no meaning" that patient replied

"Well, I don't want to say anything more about it, do you know to read?" Kavita said

"Yes, in my knowledge I have never gone to school, but still can read” that patient replied

"Oh! Wow, this is a miracle, read this book" Kavita said

"What is Rajinika: A way to found the real identity?" that patient replied

"Nothing, this is just a book, this will help you get some positiveness in your life" Kavita said

"Ok, madam, I will read it" that patient replied

"Well, you read it, I'm leaving you with Nadim, if you want something, he will bring it," Kavita said

"Thank you madam" that patient replied

After that she left out from the room. And the patient by turning to the pages of the book, said to Nadim "why Madam was so insisting me to read this book?"

"OK what's your name?" Nadim replied

"My friends call me Padmani Prakash" Padmani Prakash said

"Well, Padmani, whatever your name is, it is not a novel, it is based entirely on the life story of Madam, and every word of this novel has been written on the events that happened in her lives, I think this is enough for you "Nadim replied

"Ok I'll read this, now you can go for some rest" Padmani said

"Well, I'm going to the nearest cabin if you want something, then call me" Nadim replied

"Well you can go" Padmani said

After that Nadim left the room and, Padmani start reading the novel from beginning to end till the end in whole night
